kökenli hastalıkları çok kolay bir şekilde tespit eden yeni bir teknoloji geliştirdi.
Panasonic ve Kobe’deki Konan Üniversitesi’nde görevli profesör Naoki Sugimoto’nun birlikte yürüttüğü ortak çalışma, DNA yapısındaki SNP’leri analiz ederek tıp tarihinde çığır açacak yepyeni bir teknolojiyi ortaya koydu. Genetik kökenli hastalıkların önceden belirlenmesini kolaylaştıran yeni teknoloji sayesinde, hastanelerde tedaviler artık her hastaya özel olarak daha doğru ve hata payı bırakmayan bir şekilde uygulanabilecek.
İnsan DNA’sının tek bir dizisini oluşturan harflerdeki varyasyonlar olan SNP’ler, genetik dizideki mutasyonları ifade ediyor. Geleneksel DNA SNP’lerini tanıma metotları hem pahalı hem de yüzde 100 doğru bir sonuca ulaştırmayan bir yöntem olduğu için kullanımı çok yaygın değil.
Panasonic’in geliştirdiği bu yeni metot bu işlemi çok daha kolaylaştırıyor. Yapay bir DNA’nın sentezi ile gerçek bir DNA’nın sentezini karşılaştırma ilkesinden yola çıkan bu teknoloji, bu işlemi sentez sırasında ortaya çıkan fosfat gruplarını değişken olarak varsayarak uyguluyor. Sentez sırasında oluşan enzim reaksiyonlarının yaydığı elektrik akımlarını saptayan yöntem, değişkenleri karşılaştırma anlayışını temel alıyor. Geleneksel metotlardan farklı olarak DNA’lar bir solüsyon içinde test edilerek sonuca pratik bir şekilde ulaşılabiliyor.
Genetik kodu çok daha kolay bir şekilde analiz eden bu yeni yöntem sayesinde tıp ve genetik dünyasında büyük adımların atılması bekleniyor.(Pcnet)
